Sometimes when I’m tying my shoes I mess it up
If I’m alone it’s ok, I just retie
But sometimes others are watching, like if I’m leaving their place
I loop it over pull it around, pull it through
But if I didn’t make the loopie tight enough I pull the end all the way through
And the second loopie becomes a long dangler
And then I have two choices
Accept defeat and retie, making the silent shoe tie exit bend double in length
Or stand up and pretend it didn’t happen
But if they were watching you closely they know what just happened
You can’t bend back down
That’s the bend of shame
These are the problems
